Stadium Fire Safety Stewards
Designed for: Any employee who under current legislation is required to be trained in Fire Safety. This package is in accordance with the Football Association’s Training Package for Stewarding at Football Grounds, Second Edition 2003, Module 5 – Basic Fire Safety Awareness.
Objectives: To provide staff with the basic practical knowledge and skills to enable a steward to assess a situation, react accordingly to club policy and where necessary, safely initiate measures to contain or extinguish a small fire without endangering themselves or others.

- The triangle of fire
- Basics of combustion
- Fire extinguishers
- Fire blankets
- Fire extinguishers - practical session
- Actions in the event of a fire
- Fire safety auditing
- Dealing with arson
- General fire precautions
- Stadium features
- Course questionnaire, evaluation and close
This course will include practical training on live fires in the use of fire extinguishers and a short multi-choice questionnaire.
On completion of the course a certificate will be awarded to successful staff. The participating Company are presented with a Corporate Certificate.
