Oxygen Administration
Designed for: Personnel who require training to enable them to administer oxygen as an extension of their first aid skills or to enable them to fulfil their role as part of an organised first aid scheme.
Objectives: How to administer emergency oxygen to a patient with a serious or life-threatening illness or injury.
Course Content:
- Emergency oxygen unit assembly,dis-assembly and testing
- Safety precautions
- Emergency oxygen administration
- Practical evaluation
This course can be taught as a 'stand-alone' course or incorporated in the EFR Primary Care (CPR) course.
On completion of the course a certificate is awarded to each successful staff member. The participating Company are presented with a Corporate Certificate.
