Fire Marshal / Warden
Designed for: Those personnel who have been designated by their employer as Fire Marshals / Fire Wardens and under current legislation implement fire fighting measures within the company.
Objectives: To provide staff with the practical knowledge and skills to carry out their duties in the event of a fire.
Course Content:
- Fire safety legislation
- Basics of combustion
- Classes of fire
- Fire extinguishers
- Fire blankets
- Fire extinguishers - practical session
- Actions in the event of a fire
- The role of the fire warden
- Fire safety auditing
- Dealing with arson
- General fire precautions
- Course questionnaire, evaluation and close.
This course will include practical training on live fires, in the use of fire extinguishers and two short multi-choice questionnaires.
On completion of the course a Fire Marshal/Fire Warden certificate will be awarded to successful staff. The participating Company are presented with a Corporate Certificate.
