Fire Extinguisher Awareness
Designed for: Any employee who under current legislation is required to be trained in the use of portable fire-fighting equipment.
Objectives: To provide staff with the practical knowledge and skills to become competent in the use of portable fire-fighting equipment.
Course Content:
- Basics of combustion
- Classes of fire
- Fire extinguishers
- Fire blankets
- Fire extinguishers - practical session
- Practical evaluation
This course will include 'live-fire' practical training in the use of fire extinguishers.
On completion of the course a certificate will be awarded to successful staff. The participating Company are presented with a Corporate Certificate.
